Another Man's Poison

Davis plays a successful mystery writer who is living apart from her criminal husband. When he shows up on the lam after a bank robbery looking for getaway money from his wife, she poisons him. His accomplice (Davis' real life then-husband Merrill) shows up and helps her dispose of the body, blackmailing her to pass him off as her now dead husband.
