Silent Playground

British documentary filmmaker Stanley Goulder's first feature picture - a taut thriller that captures the atmosphere of the London suburb and the plight of a mentally disabled youth who hnds out downers to a bunch of of kids waiting outside a movie theatre. By the end of the show, a number of children are found unconscious and are rushed to the hospital to fight for their lives, while the police try to track down the hapless youth.
