The Boys and Girl From County Clare

John Joe MacMahon (Bernard Hill) may be an ageing bachelor and solitary farmer, but he plays a rousing fiddle, and after winning the All Irish Band Competition for the last two years, he is determined to triumph again. However, rumour has it that a hot Irish band out of Liverpool will be crossing the Sea to give them a run for their money: lead by none other than his long lost brother, Jimmy (Colm Meany). Family feuds, dark secrets and high jinks to a reeling soundtrack.
