The Nun and The Bandit

Cox updated E.L. Grant's kidnap thriller and set it in the primal Australian bush. Michael Shanley looks after his brothers, Bert and Frank, who is mentally handicapped, they are poor and desperate, and their rich uncle George refuses to help. Michale and his brothers decide to kidnap George's 14-year-old granddaughter and hold her for ransom. The little girl's aunt, a Polish nun, gets caught up in the abduction as well, and a relationship develops between the angry young man and the otherworldly religious woman.
